Mallia Geiger is Seerave Bioinformatics Fellow and translational microbiome researcher working across the Elkrief/Routy/Zitvogel cancer-immunotherapy axis and collaborating groups in France and the UK. Her published work spans the role of the gut microbiome in cancer immunotherapy (including the FMT-LUMINate phase 2 trial, Nat Med, 2026), the impact of Faecalibacterium prausnitzii in preclinical pelvic radiation disease models (Gut Microbes, 2020), and gut microbiome signatures of Parkinson's disease, including the GBA1 mouse model (Front Neurosci, 2025; Nat Med, 2026 with the Schapira group at UCL). Her research focuses on microbiome-host interactions and their exploitation for disease prevention and therapy modulation.
